If you are looking for a beautiful and tranquil countryside escape and cottages, the Cotswolds is the perfect destination. The Cotswolds are known for their charming villages, rolling hills, and historical buildings.
There are plenty of lovely cottages to choose from in the Cotswolds, and here are some of our favourites:
Dereham Cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh
Dereham Cottage is only a five-minute walk from the station, so it is an ideal retreat in the North Cotswolds! Ideal intimate gateway for two. It is both comfortable and attractive. The home is thought to have been constructed 200 years ago and it sits on Moreton – in – Marsh holiday cottages.
The Cottage is a three-story house with two bedrooms, a cosy living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. There are two sofas in the living area, as well as a large fireplace that is ideal for those chilly evenings. A TV with a full Sky TV package, including Movies, Sports, and streaming services are also available.
The first floor features double bedroom and second-floor twin bedroom.
We are sure our visitors will feel right at home in Dereham Cottage, with its exposed beams, a genuine Cotswold-style interior, and other beautiful features.
Lovedays Cottage in Painswick
The Lovedays Cottage is a classic example of English architecture. It was built in the 16th century and is located in Painswick, the “queen of the Cotswolds.”
When you walk into the cottage and find your senses are taken on a journey. The interior is kept white with hints of lavender to give it that extra touch and make everything seem more magical! You have stunning views from every corner and at least one thing never changes: Loveday’s garden.
The rear garden is a relaxing oasis with an inviting sunny patio and a manicured surrounding. The high wall protects the entire space from any outside distractions and also provides privacy for those inside, who can enjoy their own private moments in this cosy little haven away from everything else going on around them!
The cottage has three double bedrooms and two bathrooms over two floors. There are two entertaining rooms: one is a cosy sitting room/dining room with a log burning stove and the other is a formal entertaining area with views of the church from the front and across the lovely balley to the back.
A fully equipped bespoke country kitchen is located on the ground level, adjacent to the cosy sitting area.
On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with fitted cupboards and a bathroom with shower insert.
Foxcote Grange, Cottage in Cheltenham
If you are looking for a peaceful setting away from it all in the Cotswolds, Foxcote Grange is the perfect getaway. The property features an old-fashioned regal architectural style dating back to the 17th century.
Everything is creative, magnificent, and inspired by vintage design with accents of vibrant bright hues throughout.
Foxcote Grange can accommodate up to 12 people. There is an outdoor pool, fully equipped kitchen with appliances and a dishwasher that will save you time in the kitchen; two open fireplaces to keep you warm on those chilly nights!

Shepherds Hut
If you are looking for a budget friendly alternative in the Cotswolds the Shepherds Hut is ideal for you. It is located among the Cotswolds stone barns, which date back to 1600. It is both cost-effective and comfortable. The lower price tag does not, however, jeopardize your quality of stay. Alongside the pleasant furnishings, you will discover contemporary facilities to stay comfortably in.
The Shepherds Hut is very cosy, with tastefully picked furnishings. It has a double bed, a 32-inch smart TV, a dining area, a wood-burning stove, and a kitchenette all neatly arranged.
The farm is located in a lovely peaceful Cotswold village, just two minutes away by foot from the local pub.
The Shepherds Hut is ideally located for all local amenities: a two-minute walk to the Rose & Crown, a brief walk to the famous Cotswold Way and Coaley Peak escarpment View Point, where you can admire views over the Berkeley Vale, across the River Severn to the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons.
You can walk to Woodchester Mansion, an unfinished grade I listed Gothic Revival Mansion, set in its own valley, and recently featured in the Netflix series The Crown.
